History
- Founded in 1949 as Seabolt & Associates by Daniel Seabolt
- Later became Allied Rag and Central Chemical Companies
- Partners bought out in 1978 by Ben and Yvonne Gray, name changed to Allied-Central
- Allied’s main inventory item when founded was rags
- Allied’s main inventory item today is chemicals
- Allied moved to J-town location from downtown Louisville in 1998
- Allied has a 17,000 square foot warehouse holding over 6000 different inventory items
- Allied has 22 employees servicing all of KY and Southern Indiana, including the Indianapolis market
- Company name changed in July 2011 to Allied Cleaning Solutions to better reflect the focus of the company
- Only distributor of Proctor & Gamble professional products in KY and Southern Indiana
